Character designs

 My story mainly involves two characters, named Ruby and Mochi. Ruby is a young girl that usually spends her time feeding the stray cats and dogs in her neighborhood. Mochi is a mischievous stray puppy that Ruby is determined to help. 

For these designs, I wanted to make them cute yet simple. In my original story, Ruby had an even plainer design. 

For Mochi, I had drawn them as a golden retriever. However, I wasn't satisfied with that design, and I kept changing it. Eventually, I went with a pomeranian mix instead. I mainly changed it because the golden retriever design was getting a bit too complex. 

There is also a cat featured briefly in the story, so i didn't think it needed a reference sheet. I may scrap the scenes with the cat all together.
