Animatic

 When I first started on my film, I wasn't satisfied with the direction I ended up taking. Thus, I decided to redo a bunch of my work, which set me way back for this semester. 

This animatic was the first version of my story that I came up with. As you'll see, the story from then to now went through several changes. My indecisiveness definitely hindered me this semester.

Obviously, I still need to fix the spacing (and actually get to animating) but i exported this WIP file to show my current progress.

Dec update

 I forgot to update for November, but I've mainly spent time updating my rough scenes, cutting some scenes out and putting in different scenes.  As for December, it has been a stressful month. I had so many projects due and I spent so many sleepless nights working on assignments. This film took up a huge chunk of my time, but I like how its coming together. I wish I could have gotten more of it done, but I'm satisfied for now. Today was my final day in production, but I still want to animate and finish this film. I've spent so much time on it, I would hate to just leave this unfinished. I want to use this project to help hone my animation skills.  *My professor is letting our class work on our projects some more! I'm going to spend time grinding until 12/23. The main things I want to add are: audio, camera edits, and smoother animation/better timing

Oct update

 Since I've decided to start over, I've made things really difficult for myself. My film's plot has changed dramatically, but they both involve a female main character and a supporting animal friend. I know this semester is going to be rocky, since I'm behind my fellow classmates.  I've finished up the rough scenes for my film, and I have remodeled the character sheets for my story. They're a bit simplistic, but I'm happy with the designs. I borrowed a lot from my previous characters.

 Hello, and welcome to my blog! I created this to update on my student animation film.  Here is my rough production schedule-  https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ek7asofXpXfDJvDy2C3WMqPfmpT3xYdGlUZIuGrA7os/edit?usp=sharing scene progress chart-  I have decided to split up my animatic in 20-30 second parts to make animating easier. I will then put all these parts together using a video editing software.  I've had to redo much of my animatic & I am currently taking 5 studios this semester, so I am a bit behind schedule. However, I have started on the first ~5 secs of my animatic. I am currently aiming to have everything finished in black and white first, and I will go back and color if I have time.
